| | Free Metronome by GHC Guitar Academy is a basic but extremely useful tool for practising guitar. You can use the program to practise using none, 4/4, 3/4 and 6/8 meters, at beats per minute between 40 and 160.
The interface is extremely simple: click on the buttons to set the preferred meter and on the numbers to set the tempo.
Pluses: The program is freeware and it is extremely easy to use.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Although it doesn't have other options such as a custom meter constructor, volume control or beat presets, the program is a nice tool, especially for beginners who take their first steps in learning how to play the guitar.
