 | | IERescuer is a small but helpful application which proved to be very useful in case of Internet Explorer crashes while surfing the Web.
After installation, the program will appear as a button in Internet Explorer's toolbar. From there, you can choose to save your browsing session at any time. In case your browser crashes, you can reload your last saved browsing session. When you restart the browser after a crash, IERescuer will pop-up a window asking you which pages you would like to reload. You can choose either to reload all the pages you where visiting or only a few. Every saved Website will be opened in a new window. Pluses: It works even with the beta releases of IE 7, but since Microsoft implemented the session restoration feature, this might prove to be a dead end for IERescuer.
Drawbacks / flaws: An automatic or scheduled session saving mode would be nice to be added. Another drawback is the fact that the program saves and closes your browsing session, so, after saving, you cannot continue your work or whatever you are doing.
In conclusion: A very useful Web browsing session saver for those who use Internet Explorer for Web surfing, but it still needs to be improved.
