Corel VideoStudio Pro is a really cool app. It makes creating video less complicated than other apps and is fun to use. Non-experienced users may have a little bit of trouble getting used to the workflow and some of the tools, but it’s not difficult once you get going. If you have a lot of video and want to pull it all together into a disc that can be passed or sent to relatives or simply want to keep a hard copy record that can be viewed from any set top player, this is a decent choice for the task.

Bringing your multimedia content to a point of usefulness isn’t always easy. Changing or upgrading computing platforms and operating systems can be a challenge to content interoperability. Sometimes, content that plays on one computer won’t on another, especially if you’re moving content across OS platforms. This is one reason why I really like CUDA Video Converter. It’s a multimedia content converter for Windows.

CUDA Video Converter converts your videos into different audio and video formats. It has an easy to use interface; and figuring out how to do what you want or need to do is easy to determine. You get additional features, besides just the standard conversion codecs that the app is famous for.

CUDA Video Converter also includes the ability to Clip, Merge and Edit video as well. The features in Clip and Merge allow you to copy and paste scenes from different files into a single file and to edit out the unneeded/unwanted footage. Edit gives you access to special effects, including image flip and cropping.

This software was easy to download and install. It also uninstalls well. The free version of the app is good, and is also upgradable to the paid version of the software, though the free version has a few buttons and options faded out. If you’re looking for something that allows you to do format/ codec conversions, basic editing, and formatting. The app is fairly easy to use, and offers a great deal for its price point (free).

VideoLAN Movie Creator (VLMC) is a free, open-source software program for creating and editing movies. It is based on the libVLC media player, and is available on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. Unlike other free video editing tools VLMC offers more than just basic functionality.

For a free video editing tool VLMC is relatively powerful, and very easy to use. It has been extremely well designed, and allows users the opportunity to create high quality videos quickly and easily.
