Once installed, AjaxAMP runs silently as a lightweight web server inside Winamp. Using AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript and XML) techniques, it creates a web interface for Winamp which duplicates the actual Winamp interface inside a Web browser. Just point your browser to the computer's IP address at port 5151 and you can control Winamp! For example, install the plugin, then point a web browser to http://127.0.0.1:5151 to begin controlling Winamp on your own computer....
